#104: Avoid Excessive Hype in Your Emails

Because autoresponders are written and programmed for delivery ahead of time, marketers often run the risk of sounding overly enthusiastic about a product or service. Avoid hard pitches and language that inflates what you’re trying to sell. Instead, keep your messages authentic, and write them how you would to a friend or family member.
