It’s easy to get caught up in personal esthetics or preferences when designing an email, website or mobile friendly app. The trouble for most designers is knowing instinctively how all users will interact with a design. While this can be determined with a fair amount of testing, you should always design with the user in mind—make their life easier, even if it means compromising on the esthetics.
