#333: Don’t Send Attachments in an Email

“No one likes to open an attachment unless it’s about them.”


It may be tempting but attaching a document, image or PDF to your company’s emails is a bad way to make nice with your readers. In addition to tasking readers with the download and open routine, attachments increase your email’s chances of getting thrown into a SPAM folder. Instead, store that information on your website and offer readers a link instead of a download.
